Styling:

I really believe that clothing will make such a difference to your photos. I usually recommend flowing dresses or skirts because of the movement it provides in the session. For men try a neutral colour like cream or white, beige or taupe and pair it with chinos in muted blues or beiges. Avoid black or navy as this draws the eye too much as well as large logos and everyone in jeans.

When choosing a colour palette I always start with a colour or two (olive green, rust, muted teal/blue, brown, mauve or mustard etc) and then pair it with neutrals. Try opting for coordination rather then matchy matchy.
